The Crispery CrispyCakes Review

The Crispery CrispyCakes is something I discovered from my very first subscription box, and I was hooked ever since. I had a coupon code over Black Friday sales, so of course I had to grab some! These are the best rice crispy treats on earth!! No exaggeration!
I love that it was wrapped up all nice, just like a subscription box! If you are unfamiliar, these are the biggest rice crispy treats that I've ever seen. The quality is amazing and these are a real treat.

S'more Crispycake - $4.25.I am showing an extra picture on this one so that you can see how large these truly are. I just went and opened this because I hadn't tried it yet. It is really yummy. It has a layer of graham cracker in the middle, along with extra marshmallows.
Cocoa Concoction - $4.25. This is the best one. I love the chocolate flavored rice crispy. Absolutely love it. I want more! I received this one before so I'm happy to get it again.
Drizzled Mini Marshmallows Crispycake - $4.25. The top of this is so good. This is not my favorite, only because there is just so much more to the other ones.
Chocolate Dipped Crispycake $4.25. It turns out I seriously love this dipped in chocolate! I might almost want the entire thing dipped. Love it!
I usually cut them into 9 pieces each. It's still a good size bite and plenty big enough for a treat.

Frownies Eye Gels Review

*This item was sent to us for review purposes*
Frownies Eye Gels - $16. Frownies eye gels are basically eye pads that relax the muscles in your face, to train your muscles to be more relaxes. The more you use them, the better they work. Frownies products are made with natural ingredients, and are safe for most people with sensitive skin. It allows skin cells to position themselves to better support the epidermis. They basically separate the crease in the muscle.
Initially, you use these 3 days in a row, then you can drop down to once a week. They won't completely erase your wrinkles, nor do they claim to, but they do make them less noticeable. You can use the Frownies eye gels on both your eyes OR they also work great for around the mouth as well. It works best if you use them nightly.
The Frownies are little gel pads, they arrive in little packs, where they sit in the rose water serum. The fragrance is minimal, and I'm someone who is sensitive to flower smells and this didn't bother me at all. I have been using them in the morning. I put them on and make my coffee and check my email, and they don't bother me at all. I have heard they are easy to sleep in as well, but I haven't tried that.

At first I didn't realize Frownies were reusable, but I think that's such a great feature. You just place them back in the tray and rehydrate them with FROWNIES Rose Water Toner Hydrator, and keep them in the refrigerator. You can continue to do this until they dissolve. I have yet needed to "re-hydrate" mine, but we are keeping them in the fridge, and I have used them several times.

We have noticed a difference while using Frownies. After about 15-20 minutes my morning eye puffiness is all but disappeared. They also do what they say about making the wrinkles less noticeable and relaxed. And my eyes just feel a little softer as well!

Neocutis Bio-Body Bio-Restorative Cream

*This product was provided for review purposes*
Neocutis Bio-Body Bio-Restorative Cream - $120. Can I just start by saying this is one of the best skin creams I've ever used? Seriously, we are loving it! It's intensely moisturizing. And it left my skin feeling smooth hours later. The price is pretty steep, but this is a luxury cream available in 6.76 ounces. Once thing to note is this is professional strength. I was able to find this online as dermstore.com, but it's generally sold directly through dermatologists offices.
Neocutis is a brand that is new to us. You will rarely hear me rave about a brand that is new to me, but I just found my new "Go-To" for getting my skin re-hydrated or event ready. In fact, I'm so impressed I'm already looking for other products made by this company.
The packaging is the first thing we notice on any new product and I really love the colors of the packaging and bottle. It's a blue/turquoise, which doesn't come through too well on the pics, but it really very pretty in person. It reminds me of the Caribbean sea. The box and bottle match nicely (I tend to notice when companies carry the branding through to the packaging). The box it came in was an appropriate size and there were no "filler" papers in it, it was all product. The bottle itself is a nice thick plastic, and the cap stays in place securely.
The Neocutis Bio-Body Bio-Restorative Cream formula is fairly thick, but not too thick. It was not greasy at all and absorbs quickly. This is ideal for all skin types. The button to push down was very easy and even a mild case of carpal tunnel should not be bothered by it.
Neocutis Bio-Body Bio-Restorative Cream is non-comedogenic, dermatologist tested, free of color additives, fragrance free, and has not been tested on animals. Its a Swiss formula and powered by PSP, although I'm not really too sure what that means. What I do know is, it works! The primary ingredients are Ceramides, Salicylic Acid, Dimethicone, which works well for dryness, skin dehydration, itching, and body firming.
If you are looking to get your skin in shape for an event, or just for summer, I am personally recommending this. We will definitely be on the lookout for more of this in the future.

Bosom Couture Boob Glue Review

*this item was sent for review purposes*
Bosom Couture Boob Glue - We are asked to test and review this product. I had never heard of anything like this, and since we really like trying items that are new to market, this was an easy yes for us.
Basically, the Bosom Couture Boob Glue takes the place of taping. I've personally never tried taping. Even though it's been mainstream popular for years, I can't say I ever cared enough about that type of thing to ever get around to trying it. I mention this so you can see how I was a little naïve about how to put this to use. This is latex, silicone, and Paraben free. This product was tested on tatas, not animals.
This is the tube the Bosom Couture Boob Glue comes in. I wanted to show the packaging it was held in, because even though it's plastic, the design is so pretty and I appreciate these types of extra details.
The branding artwork was consistent throughout every bit of packaging for the Bosom Couture Boob Glue, from the plastic container, to the instruction booklet, and the actual product container. I especially love the deep red against the White/Grey/Black colors because it really pops.
The instruction booklet was detailed, however it primarily focused on "lift" and not keeping the garments in place. The latter, in our opinion, is the best use for this product.

This first pic I've included in this section is from the instruction booklet, and it's of a lady going braless in her dress, with the Bosom Couture Boob Glue giving her incredible lift. This is the first one I tried to emulate. I did not turn out like her. And frankly, I'm not seeing how she could have either. Flimsy jersey is unable to provide any support. It's a material designed to flow with your body, not reshape it. So, if you glue your boobs to it then you will still have flimsy jersey unable to provide support but now your boobs are glued to it.
We then tried this out with strapless bras. They generally stay in place well enough on their own, but if this was a concern then this would be helpful to keep it attached to you. As far as lift goes, you're still better off investing in quality bras as this did not provide a noticeable change with cleavage. We also tried this with regular unpadded bras, and a jogging bra. We could see a slight difference, but nothing we would describe as "gravity defying".
The Bosom Couture Boob Glue is easily applied because it's a roll on. It dries quickly so you need to ensure you are really ready to place garments as soon as you are done applying. And yes. It does feel like ripping off a Band-Aid when taking the attached articles of clothing off. It's not really painful, but it's not exactly pleasant either.

The best and most practical use of the Bosom Couture Boob Glue is to help prevent wardrobe malfunctions. This can literally help keep those loose or low cuts from exposing more than intended. And for strapless dress, the Bosom Couture Boob Glue can literally keep you from popping out of your dress/top and it will prevent the clothing from going a different direction than your body moves to. Because it's glued to you it has to move as you do. This works PERFECT for these uses.

I also wanted to mention that as promised, this was easily removed with water. We used plain water and it was quickly removed from both our skin AND our clothes. TIP: if you are having concerns with removing the garment that is glued to you, just add a few drops of water to your fingers, slide it along the area you are detaching, and it will easily remove without any pain.

    Worry Free Pedi Review

*This item was provided for review purposes*
Worry Free Pedi - is a foot bath sanitation tablet. This is designed to be 99.99% effective against harmful bacteria and athlete’s foot fungus. This is a product that you can take with you to the nail salon and discretely place into your foot bath, to protect yourself.
The cost is $9.99 for a pack of 8 tablets. The tablets come in little packets, two to a packet and both sides are sealed. This is a great idea to use in the salons that do not use liners in the foot spas. Since the packet is so small it is easy to carry with you.
I decided to try this at home prior to using it at a nail salon. I wanted to know exactly how it worked, how long it took to dissolve, and how discreet it would be.
The Worry Free Pedi looks just like an alka seltzer tablet, and functions similarly. I ripped open one side only.  I did not rip into the other side, as you can see from the pics, but it did break the seal on the other side which was disappointing.
The tablet fizzed up, just like I thought it would. It ended up making a circle, and then began to spread around the water. My home foot spa has a vibration mode, which I believe sped up the process to distribute, and I also believe if I had a whirlpool option like the salons have, this would have both dissolved and spread out much faster. Regardless, it was about 45 seconds for the tablet to fully dissolve.
Worry Free Pedi was very easy to use. It will also be fairly unnoticeable in a salon. The one thing to note is when I was soaking my feet I could definitely smell a "bleach" like smell. This gives me peace of mind when using an unknown salon, because it makes me think of "clean", but it wasn't exactly pleasant. I would like to see this come with flavored fruit scents, such as citrus or lemon smells. I love the small packaging and how it dissolves so quickly.

Got2B Beach Trippin Salt Infused Wave Spray Review

*This product was sent for review purposes*
It is that time of year where it's just time to start thinking of lying on a beach, and of course, how will you where your hair when you get there? We were happy to try this product because salt sprays are just great for your hair anyways. I admit, I do like my hair best with no noticeable product in it, but it's also nice to change it up once in awhile.
got2b beach trippin waving spray - $6. This is a basic sea salt spray designed to give your hair the beach look.
    • For mermaid-wavy hair
    • Makes wavy, tousled or bouncy styles
    • Salt-Infused
    • Salt infusion waving spray
    • Mermaid wavy, make waves, tousle, bounce
    • Spray evenly on dry or damp hair

I started with perfectly straight hair.

This was the best I could get. I am not overly happy with it. It did give my hair some body, but not quite the waves that the pro's are able to create. I believe this has more to do with my skill/technique than the product itself. Also, my hair was dry when I used it, but it possibly could have made a difference if I started with a wet base.

Macy's Clinique Bag Spring 2016 Review

Macy's was having a special where they included a  Clinique bag worth $70, if you met the $27 minimum purchase requirement. Which, frankly, just isn't' that hard to do. I managed to have my order equal $27 exactly. You even got your choice of two different bags/products.
Clinique Quickliner for Eyes in 11 black/brown eyeliner - $16.50. This was the first item I picked for purchase. I really liked the smudger on the end, so I am showing you a close up of it. This goes on smoothly and stays well.
Clinique Bottom Lash Mascara - $10.50. I've never had mascara designed specifically for bottom lashes, which is the primary reason I wanted to try it. It has a smaller wand, so it makes it a little easier, although seriously it's just not that hard to use a full size one. It's smudge-proof, which means if you do miss be sure to wipe it off quickly.
There was an info card inside the bag to describe the items that were included. I thought this was a really nice touch and of course it reminded me of a sub box!
The bag inside the bag, LOL.
Cosmetics bag designed by Vera Neumann - I loved the Butterfly bag, I especially love the little lady bugs print on the inside of the bag, which is a Vera Neumann signature.
Mini Cosmetics Bag - This is a coin purse. it pairs nicely with the spring theme, but I would have really been impressed it if it matched the makeup bag. I found the perfect person to gift this to, so by the time I'm writing this review I no longer have it.

Clinique smart night custom repair moisturizer - $30. Full size is $59.50.This is a great night moisturizer. As the weather is changing, I'm finding I need more and more to keep my skin refreshed.
Clinique Colour Compact (All About Shadow Duo in Black-tied from Smoke & Mirrors Quad and Silver Lining / Blushing Blush Powder Blush in Cupid) -  Again, love the lady bug. I couldn't find this anywhere online, so I'm assuming it's specific to this bag, but I cannot get an estimated $$ value for it. This was also designed by Vera Neumann. I think it's cute.
Clinique High Impact Mascara Mini in Black - $8. Full size is $16.50, and I figure this is about half. I like trying new mascaras so I'll get some use out of this.
Clinique dramatically different moisturizing lotion - $8.65. Full size is $14.50. I personally cannot tell what is so different about this moisturizer. It is recommended to use the gel version if your skin is oilier. This is designed for the face, but works just as well on hands.
Clinique Long Last Lipstick in Matte Suede - $8. I am estimating the value on this as well. Full size is $17. K has really been into the nude lip colors, I haven't quite gotten there yet, but I do really like this shade for summer.

Macy's included a sampler bag, as they do with all makeup orders. It's mostly fragrance, which is a complete waste on me. I do not like perfume and never will. I do see a Strivectin sample in there, which is a favorite brand, so although I'm not sure what the item is I do know I'll use it.
Full look of the bag. I think this was a really nice curation. I sure love the Vera Neumann designs. Vera Neumann was an American artist and entrepreneur best known for her boldly colored linen patterns and scarves signed "Vera" and featuring a ladybug. The brand is currently owned by Susan Seid and goes by the name The Vera Company. I like that they kept the signature lady bug feature!
