Walmart Beauty Box Winter 2016 Review

Walmart Beauty Box - is a quarterly subscription service that will send you a variety of beauty products each season. All items are available at Walmart and you also receive coupons. They ask for your birthdate when you sign up, if you are under 35 you will receive the trendsetter box, and over 35 you will get the classic box. Walmart used to let you order samples from the website for free, but with the subscription box craze, that has now changed. I will not list prices since everything is sample size.
Cost: $5/season - meant to cover shipping charges
How Often: Quarterly
Ships To: United States via USPS

It comes in a plain box clearly labeled Walmart.  These pics are from my sister, who receives more than one subscription, and since the items were all mixed together we are not entirely sure which ones were with which boxes. So, this is a blended review! Sorry so late on this sis!
L'Oréal Paris Age Perfect Glow Renewal Facial Oil - Basic face oil. I believe this was in both boxes.
L'Oréal Revitalift Miracle Blur - This is definitely one of my favorite drugstore finds. It blurs lines wrinkles and pores. This can be worn both under or over makeup.
Jergens Natural Glow - This is probably the most popular self-tanner on the market, and my least favorite. I think this stuff works well for those who already have a natural base, but does not work well for those using a self-tanner to develop one. The primary reason I can't stand this stuff is the scent.
Aussie Mega Hairspray - Basic hairspray. I love the purple packaging associated with this brand.
Vaseline Intensive Care Advanced Repair - This includes micro-droplets of Vaseline and works very well on overly dry skin. Another favorite find.
Act Advanced Care Plaque Guard - The flavor is clean mint.
Burts Bees Renewal Firming Night Crème - This is mostly made with natural ingredients, and it's infused with white hibiscus and apple.
Roc Multi Correction 5-in-1 Chest, Neck, and Face Cream - Helps restore elasticity and firmness.
Neutrogena Acne Correct and Cover Pink Grapefruit Moisturizer - I did not know this even existed. Pink Grapefruit is the best for clearing up any acne issues. But I'm really curious how the tint works, so I will have to pick this up and try for sure. I am disappointed this is simply a swatch sample, I think at least a 1 oz sample should have been included.
Olay Regenerist Luminous Tone Perfecting Cream - I also think this is a useless sample. If this was perhaps a 1 oz sample size I think you could really get an idea if you liked this. But this is just not enough product to really try it.
Olay Regenerist Micro Sculpting Cream Moisturizer - I love that this is fragrance free.
Colgate Optic White Express White Fresh Mint Toothpaste - It's always great to get extra toothpaste from a box. I'm not sure I believe it does any good at whitening, but it can't hurt, right?
Banana Boat Sun Comfort SPF 30 - Basic sunscreen. I always like receving sunscreen, regardless of the size. The smaller sizes work for my purse and the larger for my trips.

Aveeno Absolutely Ageless Daily Moisturizer and Restorative Night Cream - This is a great trusted brand. I haven't tried either one of these products but you generally can't go wrong with anything Aveeno.
Cetaphil Gentle Skin Cleanser - I love the Cetaphil moisturizers but have never tried the cleanser. I think this is a good size to get a feel for it.
Neutrogena Moisture Smooth Color Stick - Have I mentioned that lately I am really liking lip crayons? They are just so smooth and easy to use. Not that lipstick is ever really difficult.
Vera Wang Embrace Fragrance - Vera Wang is at Walmart now? Apparently just the fragrance lines are and some kitchen items.
Biore Baking Soda Pore Cleanser - I'm hearing about a lot of face cleaners that are currently using baking soda in them. I would think that would also help to exfoliate.
Curel itch Defence Body Wash - I bet this is quite calming for those suffering from eczema.
John Frieda Brilliant Brunette Shampoo - I didn't even know this was in a travel size. This stuff works great on my hair so always good to see it.
Ceravè  Healing Ointment Skin Protect - This is non-greasy. Heals and protects.
Burts Bees BB Cream - This is totally on my list to try. This sample is in light/medium.
L'Oréal True Match - This also deserved a much bigger sample, rather than just a swatch. I do like how there are so many shades to this line that you can be certain you will find a pretty good match.

Some Random pics of the items, again, not entirely sure which products went with which box.
Quite a good selectin for this seasons Walmart Beauty Box!

OrangeGlad January 2016 Review

OrangeGlad - is a monthly subscription service that will send you a variety of sweets and desserts every month. You should receive five items. Boxes are normally shipped during the 1st and 2nd weeks of the month.  If you find something you really love you can visit the online store to purchase more of it. There are occasional full size products, but mostly this is sent in snack size portions. Therefore, I generally won't be providing a dollar value.
Cost: $19/month
How Often: Monthly
Ships To: United States via USPS

This review is for the January box, which I just received (I ordered late). Orange Glad includes a nice info booklet that tells about the products and the Artisans who make them.
Silk Shortbread Classic Shortbread Tea Mates - The "classic" flavor was included, but I so wish one of the other flavors were added. Lemon Zest, Mango Coconut, Chocolate Raspberry, Cherry Almond. I would have really wanted to try those.
The Cispery Cocoa Concoction Crispy cake - $4.25. I have to show you the stock photo because I didn't get a pic of the layers before I ate the entire thing. This is the best treat I have ever discovered. The layer of marshmallow in the middle is chocolate marshmallow and it's really delicious. I need more and plan to order directly from the manufacturer.
Art of Caramel Vanilla Cocoa Nib - I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds yummy. This is my kind of treat. This is a blend of chocolate, vanilla, and gourmet popcorn crunch! Not too sweet. Handmade in Pasadena.
Finally Ginger Oatmeal Cranberry Finally Ginger Cookie - Yum. I thought I would have tried this before I got around to writing, but I haven't yet. But the ingredients mix sounds amazing. This is made by Carol, who is a mom that had a finicky kid (totally relatable). I think that combo always brings out the most creative snack ideas.
Tumbador Chocolate Sweet & Salty Bar - $20. When this arrived to me it was completely liquid. It was a surprisingly hot day for this time of year and the package had been sitting in my mailbox all day long. I didn't even look at it, just threw it in the fridge. It hardened nicely and now that I've tried it I can confirm it's really good. It has just the right amount of salt to keep it from being overly sweet.

Any box with a Crispery product is going to be a hit for me, so I think you can already guess what I think of this months box.

Orange Glad April 2016 Review

There was a mix-up with my April box, but I have now received it. I had alredy looked up the spoilers since everyone else had their box. I do love how the box looks packed every month. This is my second box since I had already purchased the January box which made it to me just fine.
Raley's Handmade Citrus Mix Candies - The flavors are lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit. I am not really a fan of hard candies, and this is not something I would ever normally buy. However, I was researching the companies website and I really like the customization options. You can provide your logo and they will print custom bags for you. This is great for weddings, events, school functions, etc. The candy is made with fair trade Organic sugar, All Natural, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Peanut Free.
La Petite Occasion Salted Milk Chocolate Caramels - Oh these look yummy. Smooth milk chocolate with a hint of Himalayan salt.
Le Waf The Artisan Belgian Waffle -  I was completely never expecting a Belgian waffle in a box like this. I like being pleasantly surprised like this. The tip says to eat up for 15 seconds in your microwave.
Marlo's Bake Shop Original Soft Bake Biscotti - This one has toasted walnuts, chocolate chips, and chocolate covered raisins. This is obviously meant to be paired with coffee.
The Crispery Chocolate Sprinkles Crispycake - $4.25. I'm listing a price for this one because I'm already planning to get more, and also because you should be aware there is a markup on the Orange Glad website. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. I first received a Crispery Crispycake in an October box in 2013. I'm pretty sure this is my top favorite item to ever get in a sub box, LOL. I tend to cut these up into smaller bites because it's too much to eat all in one setting. These are sooo delicious!!
That's it for this months box. I'm not convinced I'll be keeping this subscription for long because it really is way more sweets than I actually eat in a month. I like the variety and the types of items included. If I had a full house it would be worth it, but for just me it's just a little too much as I don't eat sweets every day. I do know the cancellation process is not something you can easily do online, you have to actually call them, which is one of my pet peeves. But any annoyance I could have over this is hard to process right now while eating a Crispery Cake. ;)
