OrangeGlad - is a monthly subscription service that will send you a variety of sweets and desserts every month. You should receive five items. Boxes are normally shipped during the 1st and 2nd weeks of the month.  If you find something you really love you can visit the online store to purchase more of it. There are occasional full size products, but mostly this is sent in snack size portions. Therefore, I generally won't be providing a dollar value.

Orange Glad also sends a nice info booklet each month that talks about the vendors whose products are included.

Torie & Howard Pomegranate & Nectarine Hard Candy - I don't eat a lot of hard candy, so not sure if I'll even try this.

Espresso Dulce de Leche Brownies - There were three included. A decadent and rich chocolate brownie flavored with espresso and drizzled with freshly made dulce de leche.

Whimsy & Spice Honey Lavender Shortbread Cookies .

The Cravory Salted Caramel Cream Cookies. This sounds yummy and I can't wait to try it!

S'mores Biscotti - Biscotti with marshmallows? Yum! Can't wait to try with coffee.

Cranberry Sweets & More Pates de Fruits - These were pretty good. They were gummy treats. Very flavorful! I liked them.

Glace Pastry Couture Lemon Meringue Bar by Chef Shelton- meh! This was not my taste at all. It's pretty gummy, which I sometimes like, just not in a full bar.

Donsuemor Petit Gateau L’Orange - I really liked these! I meant to eat one, but ended up eating both. Really good. Soft, moist, and delicious.

Pina Colada Cookies and Jam - My cookies were smashed to pieces, but I did get a couple that were almost whole. They packed the jam and cookies in the same box, which theoretically would work out if they were of equal weight. Shipping obviously didn't allow them to travel together smoothly. I would be really surprised if anyone received a box with the cookies intact as intended. Anyway, I had a couple I was able to try with the jam and it was awesome!

OrangeGlad announced a price change to $25/month. No way will we keeping this for that price. We intend to do maybe one more month and then cancel.

I'm still on the fence about keeping this box, but for now I've been sharing at the office.

The theme this month is Let the Adventure Begin!

Carolina Girl Cooks Rose Tea Cookies - These are made with dried, edible rose petals and delicate rose water. But just so you know, they did not taste like roses, they tasted like shortbread cookies. They were good for shortbread cookies.

Annie B's Original Caramel Popcorn - This popcorn was really yummy. I ate the whole thing at once. You can really taste the caramel flavor. This is made with all-natural & gluten free ingredients.

Quin Candy - This was a huge hit with my IT Manager, but I never got to try any. From what I hear it's soft chewy candies with a lot of flavor. Made in the Pacific Northwest, specifically, Portland. They say they do not use any fake ingredients, but even I'm not sure what that means. I'm guessing it means artificial flavors?

Rustic Bakery Espresso Chocolate Chip Shortbread - This is a coffee lovers cookie. And I can see why, it's great for dipping in your morning (or afternoon) brew!

Annie B's Caramels - These are hands down the best caramels I have ever eaten. Really. I liked it better than the caramel popcorn. These are really good. Apparently even Oprah agrees with me. She gave her stamp of approval in 2014.

This month, my coworkers enjoyed the box much more than I did. I loved the Annie B's caramels. I do not know how much longer we will be keeping this box, so just keep that in mind if you are tracking the reviews.

This review is for the January box, which I just received (I ordered late). Orange Glad includes a nice info booklet that tells about the products and the Artisans who make them.

Silk Shortbread Classic Shortbread Tea Mates - The "classic" flavor was included, but I so wish one of the other flavors were added. Lemon Zest, Mango Coconut, Chocolate Raspberry, Cherry Almond. I would have really wanted to try those.

The Cispery Cocoa Concoction Crispy cake - $4.25. I have to show you the stock photo because I didn't get a pic of the layers before I ate the entire thing. This is the best treat I have ever discovered. The layer of marshmallow in the middle is chocolate marshmallow and it's really delicious. I need more and plan to order directly from the manufacturer.

Art of Caramel Vanilla Cocoa Nib - I haven't tried this yet, but it sounds yummy. This is my kind of treat. This is a blend of chocolate, vanilla, and gourmet popcorn crunch! Not too sweet. Handmade in Pasadena.

Finally Ginger Oatmeal Cranberry Finally Ginger Cookie - Yum. I thought I would have tried this before I got around to writing, but I haven't yet. But the ingredients mix sounds amazing. This is made by Carol, who is a mom that had a finicky kid (totally relatable). I think that combo always brings out the most creative snack ideas.

Tumbador Chocolate Sweet & Salty Bar - $20. When this arrived to me it was completely liquid. It was a surprisingly hot day for this time of year and the package had been sitting in my mailbox all day long. I didn't even look at it, just threw it in the fridge. It hardened nicely and now that I've tried it I can confirm it's really good. It has just the right amount of salt to keep it from being overly sweet.

Any box with a Crispery product is going to be a hit for me, so I think you can already guess what I think of this months box.

There was a mix-up with my April box, but I have now received it. I had alredy looked up the spoilers since everyone else had their box. I do love how the box looks packed every month. This is my second box since I had already purchased the January box which made it to me just fine.

Raley's Handmade Citrus Mix Candies - The flavors are lemon, lime, orange and grapefruit. I am not really a fan of hard candies, and this is not something I would ever normally buy. However, I was researching the companies website and I really like the customization options. You can provide your logo and they will print custom bags for you. This is great for weddings, events, school functions, etc. The candy is made with fair trade Organic sugar, All Natural, Vegan, Gluten Free, Dairy Free, and Peanut Free.

La Petite Occasion Salted Milk Chocolate Caramels - Oh these look yummy. Smooth milk chocolate with a hint of Himalayan salt.

Le Waf The Artisan Belgian Waffle -  I was completely never expecting a Belgian waffle in a box like this. I like being pleasantly surprised like this. The tip says to eat up for 15 seconds in your microwave.

Marlo's Bake Shop Original Soft Bake Biscotti - This one has toasted walnuts, chocolate chips, and chocolate covered raisins. This is obviously meant to be paired with coffee.

The Crispery Chocolate Sprinkles Crispycake - $4.25. I'm listing a price for this one because I'm already planning to get more, and also because you should be aware there is a markup on the Orange Glad website. I can't tell you how much I love this stuff. I first received a Crispery Crispycake in an October box in 2013. I'm pretty sure this is my top favorite item to ever get in a sub box, LOL. I tend to cut these up into smaller bites because it's too much to eat all in one setting. These are sooo delicious!!

That's it for this months box. I'm not convinced I'll be keeping this subscription for long because it really is way more sweets than I actually eat in a month. I like the variety and the types of items included. If I had a full house it would be worth it, but for just me it's just a little too much as I don't eat sweets every day. I do know the cancellation process is not something you can easily do online, you have to actually call them, which is one of my pet peeves. But any annoyance I could have over this is hard to process right now while eating a Crispery Cake. ;)
