Little Lace Box April 2015 Review

*This post may contain affiliate links*
Little Lace Box is a bi-monthly subscription box service. They used to be monthly, but they just switched to bi-monthly. I actually support this decision. I absolutely love this box, and I can't imagine keeping up with the kind of stamina this level of originality takes. So, I'm happy to see them scale back and deliver a quality box every other month instead. This months box is themed "Nonna's Kitchen". Since they tell us the next box's themes, I always try to guess at least one item that will be included. I guessed Pesto sauce, so let's see if I'm right. The items they include are original and sometimes hard to find. Therefore, all links lead to the Little Lace Box website, where you can find the item in their store.
Full pic of the April Little Lace Box.
Little Lace Box doesn't just include an info card, they actually write a full blown letter. Reading it is half the fun of the box. They include why they picked certain items, as well as where they found them.
Trentasette Pesto, Sauce and Pate from Marx Foods - $8.50 So, I guess right this month! Italian Basil Pesto Sauce. How cool is that?!
Filotea Pennete della Domenica from Marx Foods - $8.99 - I did not expect to get pasta. I love trying new pasta brands, so I'm thrilled to get this.
Gourmet Olive Oil & Balsamic Venegar from the Ancient Olive - $13.99 This has the Sicilian Lemon Balsamic Venegar, and Milanese Gremolata Olive Oil. We LOVE oil and vinegar, especially with fresh baked bread.  When K was home we had it almost every Sunday. Love that this is included this month.
Olive Oil Dipping Bowls - by Le Cadeaux - $15.99 These are so totally cool! I think these bowls are my favorite item this month, but that is a really tough call as I'm loving everything. I can definitely use these and I am so thrilled to get them. I really love the detail on the designs, and I hope this came through the pic ok.
Cucina Dish Soap from Fruits & Passion - $8.99 This is Italian dish soap. I've never used anything but an American dish soap, so I'm curious about it. The flavor is tangy lime zest and woody cypress scent. When I first picked this up I thought it was lime juice. Seriously, I was this close to grabbing a Corona. Good thing I read the description first.
Tea Towel by Belle & Union Co - $14.99. What a cute tea towel, truly unique. I love how LLB always finds such unique items.
Market List Notepad by Brianna (Little Lace Box) - $4.99. I love this notepad. I'm constantly writing grocery lists and I happen to be partial to these long notepads for just such a thing. I don't know why, I just am.
Porcelain Jewelry Dish by Artisan Janelle Beaulieu - $14.99. LLB included this jewelry dish because it reminded them of the one their grandmother used to keep on her kitchen windowsill, where she could place her jewelry before cooking. I could use just a thing. They included both glazed and unglazed versions, I received the unglazed. It is very pretty!!!
Little Lace Box included one more surprise - Anyone who received the April box get to pick out a full size bottle of Balsamic Vinegar or Olive Oil from their website - $13.99. I will be using this for sure, wonderful surprise. The menu looks so awesome, I can't imagine just limiting it to one.

Little Lace box had a value of $105 this month. This is well worth the $39.99 we paid. I love the Italian theme, as I cook Italian almost every Sunday. I will use every one of these items this month, so this box is a hit for me. The June box is now open to accepting new subscription orders.
The next months box theme is "A girl should be two things, classy and fabulous - Coco Chanel". The inspiration is summer. On trend colors, patterns, textures and accessories that will make you feel classy and look fabulous. I'm guessing sunglasses will be included, oh I really hope so!
