Ipsy Glam Bag August 2016 Review

Ipsy – is a beauty subscription box created by Michelle Phan. They send a mix of deluxe samples and full size beauty products, and a makeup bag. You take a beauty quiz and should receive items that match your profile. This is very similar to Birchbox, and an excellent way to build up your inventory and try out different brands before investing in a full size purchase.

The theme for the August bag was Sugar Highness

There were two different designs included, I love the one I got.

NEOGEN CODE 9 GOLD BLACK CAVIAR ESSENCE & GOLD TOX TIGHTENING PACK - There were two masks included. This is supposed to be very softening for your skin.

Global Beauty Care Dead Sea Wash Off Mask - I think this is my favorite item this month. I do love face masks, and I especially love Dead Sea products, even if it is gimmicky. This is a 1 oz size and clearly enough for more than one use.

Trust Fund Beauty Liquid Lipstick in K, Bye - I'm not really much of a fan of this brand, but I do really like this natural color. I think it would look great on a multitude of skin tones.

IT Cosmetics No-Tug Waterproof Mini Gel Eyeliner - IT Cosmetics is a top favorite brand of mine (even if they did sell out to L'Oréal), but if there is one item I am tired of seeing in sub boxes, it's definitely black eyeliner. I have not opened this because I will def not be keeping.

Winky Lux Diamond Complexion Powder in Light or Medium - I received this is light, which means I'll actually keep and use it. I like the size for a travel bag, but I totally wish this came in a bigger size. This contains genuine crushed diamonds to help make light of imperfections.
