Allure Beauty Box May 2016 Review

Allure Beauty Box (formerly Sample Society) - is curated by the editors of the Allure Magazine. It promises 5 deluxe sizes “expert approved” beauty items from luxurious brands. It comes with a great info card "mini magazine" that tells you why they picked what they picked, how to use it, and why they like it.

Allure Beauty Box has a really nice box, and it's even sturdy enough for shipping!

Allure includes a nice info card that talks about the products, and even tells you where to buy.

Foreo Luna Play - $39. This was the featured item this month. This is a vibrating cleanser brush. I like that it's great for a travel bag, since I don't pack my Mia2. It's supposed to be worth 100 cleanses, so should last awhile.

FOREO Day & Night Cleansers - $8.39. This is a gentle day cleanser and a gentle night cleanser. It is supposed to work great with the Forea Luna Play, so nice that it was included.

Lauren B. nail polish in Santa Barbara Surf - $18. This is a 5 Free formula and the coats are really light. I do not get along with Lauren B nail polish and never will. But I do think the color is very pretty for spring.

Make Up for Ever Smoky Extravagant Mascara - $13.57. This is a volumizing, lengthening, and curling mascara in an ultrablack shade. I do like trying new mascaras, but I'm still pretty stuck on my typical brands.

 

Equitance Brightening Serum + Spot Corrector - $29.17. This is said to work really fast, a visible difference in just four weeks. This is also said to be gentle enough to work for sensitive skin.

Cotz Flawless Complexion SPF 50 - $1.44. This is a tiny sample. One I have received many many times over the years. It's to small to use for even a full body application, but could work for a couple times of face coverage.

 Pixi Mattelustre lipstick in Rose Naturelle - $3.33. I like to get this size in sub boxes, because they fit great in a bag and travel well. This color is pretty. It also came with a $2 coupon off at Target.

 

This months Allure Beauty Box has an approximate value of $113. I love that the Foreo Luna Play was included, since it's different and has never been featured in a sub box before.
