Ipsy January 2015

Our Ipsy- bags arrived! K and I both got the exact same bag this month, which never happens so I'm unclear why. The theme is "Fresh Start", which sounds fitting for January. Ipsy- $10/ month/ no shipping charges. You get a cute makeup bag filled with 4-5 personalized beauty products.

 

 

  

The makeup bag is cute, blue on one side and white on the other. I like that it's not just a plain color.

Hikari Cosmetics eyeliner in Storm - $13. The color Storm basically means gray. I've been seeing a lot of grey eyeliners lately, but I'm not sure I understand the trend. Also, I don't really know the correct spelling of grey, which is why you're seeing me list it differently.
Manna Kadar cosmetics sheer glo shimmer lotion - full size would be $29.

Pacifica Natural Mineral Coconut Eye Shadow in Treasure - This is a very pretty brown color.

Malin + Goetz mojito lip balm - I've received this before and I really like it. This is probably the only item I'll be keeping this month. It has a slightly minty feel and definitely feels refreshing.

eco-beauty good day moisturizer - The listing says "free from questionable ingredients". While I'm not entirely sure what that means, it sounds good. I really like the product presentation. By that I mean the cap that you can squeeze out of. It doesn't have that foil packet feel to it and I like that it's different.

I'm not overly impressed with this months bag. I've seen some other versions that I wish we had been picked for. Also, K got her shipment almost a week ago and I can't figure out why I just now got mine. If you are interested in Ipsy, you can use our sign up link here.
